Me

I saw this over at It Ain't Easy Being Cheesy and totally stole it. My title should pretty much sum up my thievery. Have you ever checked her out? Talk about amazeballs, that Alicia is the awesomesauce.

Here are the rules:
1. Respond and rework; answer the questions on your blog, replace one question that you dislike with a question of your invention, add one more question of your own.
2. Tag other people.Sounds simple enough, right?

What is your current obsession? Taking pictures with the hubbands new dslr. I puffy heart love it.

What are you wearing today? Right now? Grey lounge pants + the hubbands "Game Over" bride & groom tshirt. I love living with a boy, such comfy clothes.

What’s for dinner? Ahhh, Lemon Bars & Fat Tire Beer? Shitballs. See what happens when I don't meal plan? Dont judge me.

What would you eat for your last meal? a nice cheese plate, goat cheese bruschetta, a shit load of ice cold Pinot Grigio, Medium Ribeye, and about 3984 red velvet cupcakes.

What are you listening to right now? MGMT "The Kids" over and over.

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go? I'd pack up the hubband, sistah, tp, the girls + the guys and one adorable baby J & a mr. babe amazing and head off to somewhere tropical (all expenses paid of course) for the next month.

Which language do you want to learn? Italian. So I know what I'm eating + drinking.

What do you love most about where you currently live? We are still in the ''city'' but can see the stars when we sit on the deck at night.

What style is your current home decorated in? a mish mash of decor. My living room/reading room is funky art + big comfy sofas. Kitchen is italian wine/food (plus, green!), bedroom is frenchy themed, media room is very mod + man friendly. Depends on the area of the house, we like diff stuff.

If you were a time traveler what era would you live in? Totally in the 50s, when I could dress all rockabilly and watch Elvis while he was still in his prime. < < style="text-align: center;">Freaks on Oak 2009 178

What were you doing ten years ago? Let's see, I was 18. So I was working at Sutherlands (local lumber store) flirting with all the boys, getting my first tattoo, and having one of the best summers ever.

If you had $300 now, what would you spend it on? Some new work clothes.

What are you going to do after this? Eat a lemon bar.

What are your favorite films? Footloose, Twister, Walk the Line, anything by the Cohen Brothers.

Your favorite books? I Know This Much is True. Sex, Drugs, & Cocoa Puffs. Gone with the Wind. A Blind Man Could See How Much I Love You.

Do you collect anything? Wine bottles + corks. Hey! Cheap decoration for something we both love.

What makes you follow a blog? Humor, good information, good photos.

What was the most enjoyable thing you did today? Cracked open my first, second, and third beer.

Ann's Question:What makes you comment on a blog? The blog must be interesting to me. Typically, I don't get involved in the drama llama unless its a ''blog friend''

Amy's Question:What is your favorite thing to do when you have some free time?
Read. Research. Write. I'm a nerd.

Annissa's Question:As you know I homeschool -- If you could would you? Do you agree with homeschooling This is something I've thought about over and over since realizing that I want kids. I would really LOVE to homeschool our kid when we have one. I just feel that the Kansas City school district is really lacking and doesn't provide the education foundation that a child needs to enter college or the real world. Andplusalso, we live in Stepfordville and all the lil shits around here drive cars as nice as mine or NICER than mine and rock expensive handbags TO SCHOOL so it kinda pisses me off. The kids already going to have some stigma attached to their appearance solely by our last name, so I'm torn. Private school is another option I guess, but I just REALLY like homeschooling. It appeals to the inner geek in me.

Tonya's Question:What is a talent you wished you had? I wish I could do graphic design, that would be the awesomesauce.

Kyooty's Question: If you could be any other animal other then Human, what would you be? Molly. That dog is SPOILED and so loved. But, she is the BEST dog, so she deserves it.

Carrin's Question: Rush just told me that by 2042, white people will be the minority. Do you believe that? Would that be a big deal to you? Rush comes to me in my nightmares, therefore I will not be answering this question. Rush = the devil.

isabel's Question: Would you want your blog to be as popular as Dooce? What would be some of the pros and cons? I'd like to be popular, I'm vain enough to dig it. Plus, I'm a big ol' attention whore, so yeah. I can't imagine bumping up to 50 readers/commentors. Talk about the awesomesauce. However, the level that Dooce is at kind of scares me. I'm so OCD about shit and worrying about it would drive me even more batshitcrazy, so I don't know what to think about that level of popularity. So I won't. I'll just hide in my own lil nerdy jess world and enjoy the world as it is. For now.

Alicia's Question: What fad do you wish was popular again? The Glam life. I'm so over this hippie bullshit thats popular right now. Gladiator sandals make me want to stab my eyes out.

Jess's Question: Tell me a secret? Make it a good one. You are safe here. If someone acts like an asshole, I'll borrow some ninja skills and kick their ass for you.

I tag you, all of you. xo

I may or may not be doing this post, and because you talked shit about my fave brown sandals in the whole wide world, I think we're no longer friends. Except I love you way too much, so you can keep on hating and I'll keep on rocking the gladiator sandals. ;)

Rush = Devil Very good!!

It is a little crazy that we will be in the minority. Radical muslims kinda scare me.

Caiti I just dont know if we can be friends anymore. I despise those sandals. Sorry. Ehh okay I disliked you long enough. You know I can't be mad at my peaches!! :)

And yes, radical muslims kinda scare me too.

YAY for borrowing my ninja skills. They are the "awesomesauce" and will kick anyones ass. I can send the midget sidekick too. Then you'll have a clusterfuck of badass.

I probably wont be doing this blog. My lappy is making my legs hot and I'm lazy.

loves you.

"awesomesauce" might be my new favorite word. i saw your comment on alicia's blog and had to check you out. love your blog! even better...i love your blog and i hate gladiator sandals and i hate ruch limbaugh! soulmates.

We call those type of sandals "officer sandals" because apparently they're all the rave for officers to wear. Seriously, you can spot an officer out of a crowd just by his gladiator sandals.

Don't worry Caitlin - I'll still be your friend but I'll have to ask you to cover up your feet. Thanks.

baby girl i'm gonna smother you in awesomesauce!! i'm in looooooooove with your tattoos...sigh...love love love!! i want new ones...the hubs laid the smackdown. talk about a buzzkill. i'm so glad we were destined to be together...tomorrow i'm going to go eat a cupcake just for you...and i'm gonna wear my finest rockabilly outfit while doing so...

i was looking at that "i know this much is true" book at b&n the other day. i want to read it.

that is all.

OMGASH button works! Go me! Also, I am wearing my gladiator sandals nonstop in October and you bitches can suck it. <3's you! :)

rockabilly fans - have you seen the website babygirlboutique.com. holy fun stuff, batman! i love their stuff and have ordered a couple pairs of shoes and some jewelry from there. good coupons, too!

I love you Jess! Your tattoos make me greeeeeen with envy. I must have more! Am yet to get a food-related tattoo though, so much respect to you for the cupcakes :)

I have a bit of a hatred of these meme things, so don't take it personally if I don't join you on this one. But it all balances out because I like me some gladiator sandals so ner-ner, ner-ner, ner-ner!

Your last meal sounds great and I think I'd want to eat the cupcakes from your tattoo.

And I agree about the hubby clothes!! Big t-shirts are the best lazy clothes.

Ugh, isn't the dslr amazing?! I love it.

I am totally digging your tattoo. That is the best tattoo ever.

I love your new look! It's absolutely gorgeous! Your header is amazing! I love your button...I posted it already:)
